I collect 8mm and Super 8mm films. Being in Australia, they are hard to find and they are even more scarce when you weed out the garbage, vinegar syndrome in particular. I love them like crazy but my projector bulb just died and it is $300 for a new one from the USA so not going to happen. Crapola. So, I’m going to digitise them once and for all and then get as many as I can up on the site. There are copyright issues perhaps but really who is going to care about a 1930s chimp movie? No idea. In any event, that is the plan.
