Saturday Night Live

I paid $25 for this record and I think it was worth it. This record is a bunch of SNL skits and fake commercials and such from the old days back when SNL was funny. This has the whole gang we grew up with – John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd, Chevy Chase, Gilda Radner, and so on.

Unlike a lot of comedy records, this one is well produced and easy to listen to. I don’t know what it is about comedy records, but many of them have shitty sound and are muddy and hard to understand and really I think it is more than a dust issue, it is just crappy engineering I think.

I found this in a local used record store and though $25 is the high end of its price range, I just had to have it so here you go.

PS. We are fortunate to have two used record shops in walking distance of our swanky beach pad. One has a comedy section and the other has comedy records but they are mixed in so you have to dig through them all to find anything good.
