Rowan Atkinson – Live in Belfast

Rowan Atkinson, aka Blackadder and Mr. Bean, is a very funny guy but sadly, this record does not reflect that. The jokes are spaced too far apart and you have to really pay attention to get them because he speaks using what I think he thinks is a comedic voice. It’s not. It’s just annoying.

Having said all of that, Rowan Atkinson is a funny guy and his movies etc. are outstanding which is why this record is so disappointing. I will listen to it one more time just to give it a fair chance because it may not be resonating with me for some unknown reason and perhaps one more chance is what it needs.

As you know, I hate hate hate giving less than stellar reviews so this sucks but like I said, I will give it one more chance and see what happens.

I would say buy this record for $10 or less.
